Introduction
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") sets out the manner in which Bissi Yaazi Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, and having its registered office at AU North Campus, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh – 530003 (hereinafter referred to as "Payzo", "Company", "We", "Us", or "Our"), collects, receives, stores, processes, transfers, discloses, and otherwise handles personal data and information of individuals ("User", "You", or "Your") who access, register on, or use the Payzo mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
Payzo is a brand and a platform operating under Bissi Yaazi Technologies Private Limited.
By accessing or using the Platform, You expressly acknowledge and agree that You have read, understood, and consented to the collection, processing, storage, disclosure, and use of Your information in accordance with this Policy and applicable laws.
1. SCOPE AND APPLICABILITY
This Policy applies to all Users who access or use the Platform in any capacity, including but not limited to account creation, execution of transactions, participation in cashback or reward programs, communication with customer support, or any interaction with the Platform's features or services. This Policy forms an integral and legally binding part of the Payzo Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency between this Policy and any other document, the provisions of this Policy shall prevail with respect to data protection and privacy matters.
2. NATURE OF INFORMATION COLLECTED
Payzo may collect, process, and retain personal data and information that is voluntarily provided by Users or automatically generated through usage of the Platform. Such information may include, without limitation:
- Identity and contact details
- Transactional and financial information
- Cashback and rewards data
- Device identifiers
- Technical and usage metadata
- Approximate location information where legally permissible
- Customer support communications
- Information required for compliance with legal, regulatory, audit, or risk-management obligations
In addition, Payzo automatically collects certain technical information, including IP address, device type, operating system, application usage logs, timestamps, diagnostic data, and crash reports, for the purposes of ensuring operational stability, security monitoring, fraud detection, and performance optimization.
3. PAYMENT AND FINANCIAL DATA
All payment transactions conducted through the Platform are processed using third-party payment gateways and banking partners authorized under applicable law. Payzo does not collect, store, or process sensitive financial credentials such as card numbers, CVV details, UPI PINs, or net-banking passwords.
Payzo may, however, receive and retain limited transaction-related information, including transaction identifiers, payment status confirmations, settlement records, and reconciliation data, solely for accounting, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and customer support purposes.
4. PURPOSE AND LAWFUL BASIS OF PROCESSING
Payzo processes personal data strictly for legitimate and lawful purposes, including:
- Enabling access to the Platform
- Managing User accounts
- Facilitating payments and withdrawals
- Administering cashback and rewards
- Providing customer support
- Preventing fraud or misuse
- Complying with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Enforcing contractual obligations
- Improving the security, functionality, and efficiency of the Platform
Processing is carried out on the basis of User consent, performance of contractual obligations, compliance with applicable legal requirements, and Payzo's legitimate business interests, including risk mitigation and platform security.
5. DISCLOSURE AND TRANSFER OF INFORMATION
Payzo does not sell or rent personal data. Information may be disclosed on a need-to-know basis to third-party service providers, including payment gateways, banking institutions, cloud hosting providers, analytics partners, and security vendors, solely for the purpose of enabling Platform operations. Such entities are contractually obligated to maintain confidentiality and implement appropriate safeguards.
Payzo may also disclose information to government authorities, regulators, courts, or law enforcement agencies where disclosure is required by applicable law, judicial order, or regulatory directive. Any such disclosure shall not constitute a breach of this Policy.
6. DATA RETENTION
Personal data is retained only for such period as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy or as required under applicable laws. Certain categories of information, including transaction and financial records, may be retained beyond account termination to comply with statutory, audit, taxation, or dispute-resolution requirements.
Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, data shall be securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with industry standards.
7. DATA SECURITY
Payzo employs reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include secure infrastructure, access controls, encryption where appropriate, internal data minimization practices, and periodic security assessments.
Important: Notwithstanding such measures, Users acknowledge that no system is entirely secure and that Payzo does not warrant absolute security of data.
8. USER OBLIGATIONS
Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials, OTPs, and devices used to access the Platform. Payzo shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or unauthorized access arising from User negligence, credential sharing, or device compromise.
9. USER RIGHTS
Subject to applicable law, Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data, or withdraw consent for certain processing activities. Payzo reserves the right to retain information where required by law, regulatory obligations, fraud prevention, or legitimate business interests.
10. MINORS
The Platform is intended exclusively for individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. Payzo does not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. Payzo disclaims all responsibility for the privacy practices, security, or content of such third-party platforms.
12. AMENDMENTS
Payzo reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. Updated versions shall be effective upon publication on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

14. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Courts at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
